Tropix Mobile Detailing · Maintenance + Fleet PlansThe prep work is what makes the difference. Here is what happens before any coating goes on.
A lot of operators apply coating straight over paint that has not been properly prepared. We do not. Every ceramic coating job at Tropix goes through three stages before the coating ever touches the vehicle.
We start by assessing the paint condition under proper lighting. Wash, iron fallout removal, clay bar decontamination. The paint has to be clean at a chemical level before anything else happens.
Where the paint shows swirls, marring or oxidation, we work through machine polishing stages to restore the clarity. The coating bonds to corrected paint, not damaged paint. That is the difference between a result that lasts and one that just sits on top of problems.
The coating is applied panel by panel in controlled conditions. We give it the cure time it needs before handback, then inspect the finish panel by panel to make sure every surface is where it should be.
